(C) In an October 28 discussion, DCM presented reftel points
to MFA Deputy Political Director De Groot. De Groot did not
respond directly, noting "we still need to talk to the
Minister about Bosnia." Nonetheless, he added, the problems
are clear. FM Verhagen is not happy with the stance of the
EU Defense Ministers on EUFOR. He thinks the pace is
"difficult." Poloff shared reftel points with Cees Roels,
MFA deputy director for southeast and eastern Europe. Post
