PRESIDENT OF THE THIRD REVIEW MEETING OF THE CONTRACTING
PARTIES TO THE JOINT CONVENTION

SENSITIVE BUT UNCLASSIFIED; PLEASE PROTECT ACCORDINGLY.

(SBU) The Netherlands' point person for the Third Review
Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Joint Convention
"does not foresee any problems" with the U.S. candidate. On
September 25, EconOff shared Dr. Ines Triay's biographic
information per reftel with Hendrik Koets of the Foreign
Ministry's Environment and Nuclear Safety Division. Koets
will attend the October 13-14 Organizational Meeting in
Vienna. He has circulated the points with other Dutch
government officials involved with the Joint Convention and
will report back if any issues arise, which he does not
anticipate.
