MFA Director for Non-Proliferation and Nuclear Affairs Henk Cor van der Kwast discussed reftel points on March 19, noting that the GONL appreciated the points and understood how a shipment of tritium gas to the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) would generate high interest in Washington. He explained that the Ministries of Foreign and Economic Affairs are involved with the case -- while he did not have an immediate response to the demarche, he promised to return with additional information upon further consultations with his colleagues in the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
