(SBU) On March 12, 2008, Dutch MFA Western Balkans director
Cees Roels contacted POLOFF to ask for guidance on joining
the Kosovo International Steering Group (ISG). After
recognizing independence and consulting with parliament, FM
Verhagen had decided to participate in the ISG. On March 13,
2008, POLOFF provided ref A guidance to Roels, who indicated
the Dutch would contact International Civilian Representative
Feith about joining.
