On September 22, Econoff passed non-paper transmitted reftel to a representative of Udi Levi, Director of the National Security Council's (NSC) Bureau of Counterterrorism Finance. On the same day, Poloff transmitted the non-paper to Haim Waxman, Director of the MFA's Department of Non-Proliferation, and Roey Gilad, Director for Export Controls, also at the MFA. ¶2. Econoff informed GOI that the USG was in the process of passing the information to other friendly countries that might have the ability to act upon it. Udi Levi's representative expressed great appreciation for the information itself and especially for the USG's initiative to encourage its partners to act. He told econoff that the GOI would continue to share as much information as possible about Sino-Iranian relations, whether open source or classified.
