PolOff delivered reftel demarche to Rodica Radian-Gordon, MFA
Director for Arms Control on July 16. The Defense Attache
Office also passed the demarche to the office of IDF/J5
General Amir Eshel on July 17. Radian-Gordon said the GOI
was already aware of the new cluster munitions policy and
would be discussing the impact and details of this policy in
both the regular, bilateral cluster munitions working group
(CMWG) meetings and during the strategic dialogue taking
place with Undersecretary Rood later on July 16 (septel).
