On July 8, PolOff forwarded reftel to the MFA's Ambassador
Eduardo Rosales Ramirez, requesting information on Honduran
representation at the 63rd UN General Assembly. On July 22,
Jose Lorenzana, acting Director of Multilateral Affairs,
confirmed that President Manuel Zelaya and FM Angel Edmundo
Orellana Mercado, would both be attending the General
Assembly, but could not offer more details on other
delegation members or their duration of stay. Lorenzana said
that the final delegation and their itinerary would not be
ready until September. Post will forward any updates when
made available by the MFA.
