On July 17, post received written confirmation from the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, via diplomatic note 347, stating
that the GOH would support USG candidacies at the 24th
Universal Postal Union Congress. No mention was made of
potential support for other areas of USG interest in the dip
note; however, per reftel B, post has reason to believe the
GOH will vote favorably in these areas.
