1. 1. On June 5, 2008, Econoff expressed USG views related
to
the Convention of Supplementary Compensation for Nuclear
Damage (CSC) to Ambassador Eduardo Rosales Ramirez,
Director of the External Relations of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs. Econoff explained the position and
delivered the Reftel non-paper. The non-paper was also
delivered to the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of
Environment and Natural Resources (SERNA). Ambassador
Rosales and his staff assured Econoff that they will
provide the GOH reply by the end of next week.
