-- A. AmEmb Tegucigapla's Economic Section has seven staff
members, including one EconCouns, three EconOff, one OMS and
two FSN. Six additional FSN work with the Econ section but
belong to USDA and FCS.

-- B. Four positions spend time on energy matters, broken
down by the following percentages:
EconCouns: 30 percent
EconOff: 60 percent
OMS: 10 percent
FSN econ specialist: 20 percent

-- C. EconCouns maintains contact with senior GOH officials
and private sector energy company managers. EconOff
maintains contact with GOH officials, private industry,
performs outreach, conducts research and writes reports. OMS
performs administrative duties and FSN econ specialist
assists with research and administrative duties.

-- D. The econ section spent the following amounts of State
Department funds, including salary costs (prorated as
applicable),in FY 2007 on energy-related activities in two
categories:
--- personnel: approx USD 82,000 in direct salary cost
--- programs: USD 115
