2. (U) Post requests that Department conduct a human rights
review and Leahy vetting for one Government of Uzbekistan
official nominated to participate in the Program for Advanced
Security Studies (PTSS) 08-7 at the Marshall Center in
Garmisch, Germany September 26-December 19, 2008. Post has
no credible information of gross violations of human rights
by the listed participant. Department's response is
requested no later than close of business September 4.
