Per reftel request, on June 11 poloff delivered to MFA U.S.
Section Chief Ismat Fayzullaev the outcome document of the
March 12 Senior Roundtable for Women's Justice and
information on accessing grant money from the UN Trust Fund
to End Violence Against Women. Fayzullaev thanked poloff for
the information and said MFA would share it with appropriate
officials and with women's rights organizations in
Uzbekistan. In addition, poloff shared Russian-language
translations of the outcome document and information on
accessing UN Trust Fund grant money with 14 non-governmental
and quasi-governmental organizations focusing on women's
issues in several different regions of Uzbekistan.
