2. Post requests Department conduct a human rights review and
Leahy vetting for two Government of Uzbekistan officials
scheduled to attend a Marshall Center Senior Executive
Seminar on April 16-23, 2008 in Garmisch, Germany. Post
understands that Leahy vetting is required by the Marshall
Center for all program participants. Post has no credible
information of gross violations of human rights by either of
the listed participants. Department's response is requested
no later than COB April 11.
