2. (U) Post requests that Department conduct a human rights
review and Leahy vetting for two Government of Uzbekistan
officials scheduled to attend a Counternarcotics Conference
at the Marshall Center in Garmisch, Germany October 26-29,
2008. Post has no credible information of gross violations
of human rights by any of the listed participants.
Department's response is requested no later than close of
business October 23.
