(S) Magnus Danielsson, Principal Administrative Officer, and
Ladan Moghaddas, Desk Officer, the Swedish Inspectorate of
Strategic Products (ISP),told Deputy Economic Counselor that
they appreciated the information on the designation of the
Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) and its 18
subsidiaries. Danielsson commented that ISP will review
current Swedish legislation, contact the Swedish Customs
Authority and investigate whether any of the companies
specified in reftel are operating in Sweden. Mohhaddas
stated that ISP would provide a more substantive response
once it has completed its review. Post will report
