On October 1, Ansi Gerhardsson, Deputy Director, the Swedish
Ministry of the Environment, told post that Sweden is
"positively considering" the candidature of Dr. Ines R. Triay
for President of the Third Review Meeting of the Joint
Convention, but added that no final decision has yet been
made. Post will report Sweden's final decision septel.
