On September 16, Asa Gustafsson, Deputy Director, Department
for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation, the Swedish Ministry
for Foreign Affairs, told Deputy Economic Counselor that she
has passed reftel points to other relevant departments and to
the Swedish Inspectorate of Strategic Products. Gustafsson
commented that the entities and individuals named in reftel
have already been designated by the EU in Council Common
Position 2007/246/CFSP (April 23, 2007) and Council Common
Position 2008/479/CFSP (June 23, 2008),which are binding for
all EU member states.
