(S) On May 9 Deputy Economic Counselor delivered reftel
points to Niklas Wiberg, Deputy Director, Security Policy
Department, Counter-Terrorism Unit at the Swedish MFA.
Wiberg commented that Sweden would share this information
with the Swedish security services to determine if the
Revival of Islamic Heritage Society is known to them. Wiberg
added that Sweden is awaiting an EU ruling regarding two
cases involving UNSCR 1267 listings and is unlikely to
co-sponsor any 1267 listing requests until the EU has
completed this process. Post will report any additional
response septel.
