¶1. (C) MFA Political Director Bjorn Lyrvall requested April
7 that Charge convey the request of PM Reinfeldt for a
bilateral meeting with Secretary Rice on May 29, in
connection with the Secretary's anticipated participation in
the Stockholm conference on the International Compact with
Iraq (reftel). Embassy strongly supports this request.
¶2. (C) Please advise as to the Secretary's availability for
this bilateral meeting.
