Begin text of note: The Embassy of the United States of America presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil and has the honor to inform the Ministry that pursuant to Article 3 and Annex I of the Agreement between the United States of America and the Federative Republic of Brazil on Air Transport, signed at Brasilia, March 21, 1989, as amended, the Government of the United States: 1) withdraws all previous designations and allocations of frequencies for scheduled combination services, and 2) designates the following carriers to provide scheduled combination services with frequency allocations, pursuant to Annex I, section II, paragraph 2(A),as follows: American Airlines, Inc. - 47 frequencies Continental Airlines, Inc. - 14 frequencies Delta Air Lines, Inc. - 21 frequencies United Airlines, Inc. - 23 frequencies 3) designates the following carriers to provide scheduled combination services with frequency allocations, pursuant to Annex I, section II, paragraph 2(B),as follows: American Airlines, Inc. - 10 frequencies Delta Air Lines, Inc. - 11 frequencies Complimentary close.
