FINANCIAL REGULATORY TRAINING JUNE 16-20, 2008
REF: STATE 48412
1. This is an update of reftel, which invited Embassies Abu Dhabi,
Amman, Doha, Kuwait and Riyadh to nominate up to five host country
participants each for the June 16-20 Counterterrorism Financial
Regulation training course at the FDIC Training Facilities in
Arlington, Virginia.
2. We continue to await responses from posts by opening of business
Washington time on June 9.
3. It would be extremely helpful in facilitating the flow of
information to receive post nominations by email. Duplicate
responses by front channel cable are welcome if posts desire.
4. Please email responses to both Jim Wojtasiewicz
(wojtasiewiczjp@state.gov) at State and Sean Forbush
(sforbush@fdic.gov) at FDIC.
5. If participants would like more information about the training
center and the attached hotel where they will be staying, the web
address is www.fdic.gov/about/guest_services/.
6. Once again, Washington appreciates posts' support of the
Counterterrorism Finance Training and Assistance Program and looks
forward to the active involvement of host country candidates in the
course.
