1. Department authorizes USUN to support the delisting
request submitted by the Government of Sierra Leone (names in
para 2) on 1 May 2008 to the Security Council Committee
established pursuant to resolution 1132 (1997) concerning
Sierra Leone. These twenty-four individuals were associated
with former Revolutionary United Front and Armed Forces
Revolutionary Council. There is no current information
linking these individuals to destabilizing acts in Sierra
Leone or the region.
