1. This is an action message. See paragraphs 2-4.
2. The Department's Office of Defense Trade Controls
Compliance (PM/DTCC) requests post assistance in conducting a
pre-license check for the export of riot control equipment to
Trinidad and Tobago. Post is requested to complete this Blue
Lantern check within 30 days. Lack of response to a Blue
Lantern check will affect pending and future licenses
involving parties to this license.
3. Reason for request: the Foreign Consignee/Foreign End
User, Specialist Shooters Training Center, has no licensing
history with our office.
4. ACTION: Please contact appropriate Trinidad and Tobago
government authorities and confirm that the Foreign
Consignee/Foreign End User, Specialist Shooters Training
Center, has permission to import, store, and use the riot
control equipment listed on this license application. Please
also visit Specialist Shooters Training Center and make
appropriate inquiries to ascertain the bona fides of this
company as a responsible recipient of United States Munitions
List (USML) commodities. The following questions are
