Dear Mr. Minister:
I would like to express my deep appreciation for
Bulgaria's contributions to international security and
stabilization efforts in Iraq over the last five years.
Bulgaria's peacekeepers have been praised for their
efforts throughout Iraq and at Camps Ashraf and Cropper,
and Bulgaria's efforts have significantly improved the
lives of the Iraqi people.
The United States recognizes the sacrifices the people
of Bulgaria have endured and the losses they have
suffered in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The
United States is proud to have Bulgaria as an ally, and
we are encouraged by your continuing commitment to
support Iraq.
Thank you for your contributions to international peace
and security and for your support of the people of Iraq.
