ABU DHABI
1. In anticipation of Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
interviews of refugees in a new processing location in Abu
Dhabi, the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration
(PRM) and DHS US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)
request that RSO provide a security evaluation of the
processing site.
2. Please evaluate the office of UNHCR, Al Bateen Area,
Bainuna St., Opposite Court of The Crown Prince, Near Bahrain
Embassy, St No. 14, Sector 94, Zone 2, Villa no. 3 (Tel:
02-6677668). Contact: Mrs. May Kadkoy (mobile: 00971 50
6115938, email: kadkoy@unhcr.org) or Mr. Abdelesalam (mobile:
00971 50 6621773).
3. We anticipate that interviews of approximately 120 cases
(300 individuals) will take place during the first quarter of
2009, involving a team of five USCIS officers. Additional
interview dates will be scheduled as needed.
4. If RSO Abu Dhabi has any questions about the proposed
survey, please contact PRM's Admissions Refcoord Rusty
Ingraham at IngrahamRP@state.gov or PRM Program Officer
Simone Heinlein at HeinleinSG@state.gov.
5. This request is made in conjunction with DS/IP/NEA.
6. Department appreciates Post's assistance and requests
survey completion by December 15.
