This is an Action Request. See paragraphs 2-4. ¶2. The Department's Office of Defense Trade Controls Compliance (PM/DTCC) requests Embassy's assistance in conducting a post-shipment check on license 050104624 for the export of a military antenna to the Qatar Armed Forces (QAF). Embassy is requested to complete this Blue Lantern check within 45 days. Lack of response to a Blue Lantern check will affect pending and future licenses involving parties to this license. ¶3. Reason for request: Concern over the reliability of Eurotradia and Satori, foreign consignees. ¶4. ACTION: Embassy is requested to make inquiries with appropriate QAF officials to determine if it has received the antenna and that is being used for the purpose stated on the license. What is the nature of the QAF's relationship with Satori and Eurotradia? Why did it order this item via France? How will the antenna be used? Due to the absence of documentation from the QAF, post is encouraged to use its knowledge of host country to locate appropriate POC within the QAF. END ACTION. ¶5.
