(SBU) FAS officer delivered REFTEL demarche on February 11,
2007 to the Ministry of Agriculture, Deputy Minister Svetla
Batchvarova. Deputy Minister Batchvarova told FAS officer
that Bulgaria will support the EU Commission's proposal to
approve three biotech varieties: one for corn, cotton, and
soybeans. The EU Regulatory Committee will vote on the EU
Commission's proposal on February 12.
