Mr. Robert Djerassi, requested U.S. Embassy Sofia to transmit
the following message on behalf of the Council to
President-elect Barack Obama.

Your Excellency,

The Central Israelite Religious Council compliments the
President-elect of the United States Barack Obama and wishes
his success in giving a new impetus to his country in this
difficult economic situation.

CIRC feels confident that Mr. Obama will uphold the values
that made America great.

CIRC is convinced that the new president will seek to improve
the relations with Bulgaria in order to consolidate peace and
democracy throughout the world.
