Noting the lack of any real progress in the situation in
Burma, Yotova said that the EU has adopted tough financial
sanctions. Yotova promised to deliver the U.S. points to her
superiors for their consideration and said that she will
contact POLOFF if she learns of more specific actions to be
taken.
