PolOff delivered reftel demarche to the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs State Expert for Human Rights, Christian Yotova on
January 14. Yotova promised to pass the U.S. views to her
superior, Human Rights Director, Andrei Tehov. She told
PolOff that her superiors would need to consult with the
other relevant directorates to determine if the GOB would
make a public statement. Yotova said that she would inform
PolOff, if such as decision is made.
