States Europe III Department Ivaylo Ivanov. Ivanov said he
agreed with the demarche and affirmed that Bulgaria adheres
to the EU position on Belarus, including democratization and
release of political prisoners. He said he would pass the
message to his superiors but did not commit to taking any
specific action.
