1. (SBU) Per reftel, Post has no derogatory information on
GTI Bulgaria, TRE-P E.O.O.D., or their known shareholders.
Post has been aware of this potential hot zinc galvanizing
project for some time and looks forward to receiving
additional details about it. We are unaware of any specific
information that would negatively impact the proposed
project, although we urge OPIC and the project developers to
meet with Embassy staff when they are in Sofia the week of
March 31 so we may describe certain aspects of the operating
environment that could possibly affect the project.
