SUBJECT: BOSNIA- DAO VERFIES DESTRUCTION OF AMMUNITION
REF: US-BIH AGREEMENT ON AMMUNITION DESTRUCTION 08/07
1. (U) DAO visited the Bosnian Armed Forces' ammunition
destruction facility in Doboj July 2 to verify destruction of
ammunition per terms of US-BiH agreement (reftel). DAO
confirms that destruction of second segment of ammunition,
870 tons, occurred as required by the agreement. Minister of
Defense Selmo Cikotic also sent EMBASSY written confirmation
that the destruction of the ammunition took place as agreed.
2. (U) Post believes requirements are met for PM/WRA's
release of the third tranche of funds for the destruction of
ammunition per conditions of reftel agreement
