(U) Poloff delivered reftel demarche and points encouraging
Salvadoran attendance at the UNESCO conference on at-risk
youth to Felix Ulloa, MFA Alternate Coordinator for
International Summits. Ulloa said he would pass the
information on to the Foreign Minister's office and to the
Salvadoran Embassy in Paris. Ulloa later told Poloff that he
expected that a Salvadoran delegation would attend, but did
not yet know who would be attending. Post will report any
further response received on the issue.
