(C) Poloffs relayed concerns about anti-Israel UNGA
resolutions November 20 to MFA Director General of Foreign
Policy Werner Romero and Multilateral Affairs Officer Gustavo
Argueta. They said they have been incorporating the views of
all countries involved, including the U.S. and Israel, and
have been reviewing all resolutions with the Foreign
Minister. Argueta noted that El Salvador has always voted
with the U.S. on Golan resolutions. He added that the MFA
would notify us of how they planned to vote, but cautioned
that they expect last-minute instructions because Foreign
Minister Marisol Argueta is currently on a trip to Israel.
