(C) On June 25 Econoff delivered Missile Technology Control
Regime (MTCR) points concerning the Canberra MTCR Plenary to
Roberto Liotto, the Italian MFA official responsible for MTCR
issues. Liotto confirmed that Italy would be giving an
Information Exchange (IE) presentation at the upcoming
Plenary. Liotto was not able to provide specific details,
but predicted that Italy's presentation would most likely
focus on missile procurement. Liotto said he would relay
more information to Econoff as it becomes available.
