on Iranian non-compliance and weaponization-related
activities to MFA non-proliferation Acting Office Director
Laura Aghillare February 28. Aghillare said the GOI shared
our "glass half empty" analysis of IAEA DG El Baradei's
February 22 report, and that as MFA Political Director Terzi
told Ecmin Delare (ref B),Italy is actively engaged in
pressing reluctant UNSC members to move quickly to adopt the
next Iran UNSCR. She said Italy thought the new information
regarding Iran's failure to address activities associated
with weaponization should be useful in convincing reluctant
UNSC members of the need for swift UNSC action.
