Counselor Laura Aghilarre of the MFA's Non-proliferation
Office, as well as Anna Marria Carriero, Director for the
Office of External Affairs whose jurisdiction includes
counter terrorism-financing and moneylaundering at Italy's
Central Bank. Aghilarre and Carriero could not provide a
substantive response due to the need to assess the
information more carefully, but stated that the information
could be helpful to increase the vigilance by the Italian
financial authorities. Both agreed to provide a follow-up
response in due time.
