(C) The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed post that
Saudi Arabia will vote against Serbia's proposal to
refer the question of the lawfulness of Kosovo's declaration
of independence to the International Court of
Justice for an advisory opinion. MFA Deputy Director for
Western Affairs Mujahid al-Wahbi phoned poloff on September 9
and shared the Saudi decision. He added that voting
instructions are awaiting signature and will be forwarded to
the Saudi mission to the United Nations.
