Russian recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia on August
26 to Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs Chief of the
Division of International Organizations Ahmed Faouzi. Faouzi
said that he would send the U.S. request to the appropriate
authorities in the Ministry. He informed POLOFF that the MFA
has not received any visits from Russian contacts here in
Morocco.
