(C) On July 2, DCM made reftel demarche to Ambassador Omar
Hilale, the Secretary General at the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and Cooperation. Hilale listened politely but
responded that Morocco's thinking on Kosovo had not changed.
Morocco will keep its peacekeepers in Kosovo. However,
recognition is not currently under consideration.
