¶1. (C) In a Diplomatic Note dated January 8, the Government
of Morocco notified the Embassy that it will support the
candidacy of Ambassador Pierre-Richard Prosper for membership
on the UN Committee for the Elimination of Racial
Discrimination during January 17 elections in New York.
¶2. (C) A copy of the Diplomatic Note is being emailed to
NEA/MAG.
