(C) Political Military Officer delivered reftel demarche to
the Ivan Dvorak,the Czech Ministry of Defense's Director of
Strategy and Policy on September 11. He appreciated receiving
the points and recognized the need to expand counter narcotic
efforts in Afghanistan. However, he felt that the MOD and the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs would need to discuss this issue
further before offering support. Dvorak said he would share
the reftel points with his colleagues at the MFA and MOD and
let us know when he could provide a more detailed response.
Post will follow up with Dvorak and the MFA.
