Officer delivered the ref a demarche to Czech Director of
Security Policy Veronika Kuchynova-Smigolova on September 22.
She appreciated our background on our planned assistance and
said the Czechs are fully supportive of the planned Brussels
Donors' Conference. However, she said that the government had
not reached a decision on whether to increase their
assistance. Per ref b, the Czechs have provided five million
crowns (330,000 USD) in emergency humanitarian assistance and
are committed to providing 150 million crowns (10M USD) over
the next three years to support Georgian reconstruction.
