¶1. (SBU) Post delivered reftel demarche to the Czech
Ministry of Finance, Financial Analytical Unit (FAU) on
September 12 and to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
America's Desk on September 15. On September 17, FAU
Director Karel Korynta reported that his office had found no
records of any of the three Venezuelan officials named in
reftel or any financial assets linked to them. The FAU
promised to notify Post if any such assets are found in the
future.
