PolCouns presented ref a points to MFA Director of Political
Affairs Jacques Renand Cherduville May 7, recalling that
Haiti previously had accepted the U.S. invitation to attend
the PSI Fifth Anniversary event, that Haitian Ambassador to
the U.S. Raymond Joseph would attend, and that Haiti would
endorse the PSI Statement of Interdiction Principles (refs b,
c). Cherduville reiterated these pledges.
