¶1. (C) Ambassador spoke with Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean
Renald Clerisme February 15 and delivered reftel demarche.
Clerisme took note of the US concerns and indicated that any
decision on recognizing Kosovo's independence would be made
at the Presidential level. He stated that he would be
meeting with the President to discuss the matter, though no
date for that meeting was given.
