(C) In response to reftel demarche, MFA Human Rights Director
Jacques Pellet said during a July 17 meeting with visiting
DRL and IO officials that the GOF would most likely support
the USG position to have the application for the NGO, Human
Rights Foundation (HRF),sent back for review to the
Committee on NGOs (CNGO) of the UN Economic and Social
Council. He said this was a standard procedure in the
Committee that had not yet been afforded to HRF.
