SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR HUMAN RIGHTS VETTING FOR US-SPONSORED
TRAINING: HEALTH CARE SPECIALIST COURSE, FORT SAM HOUSTON,

1. (U) Post requests the Department's assistance in
screening the following individual from Suriname's Ministry
of Defense, who has been nominated to attend the Health Care
Specialist Course at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, from November
10, 2008 through March 25, 2009, pursuant to the Leahy Act
and Foreign Assistance Act. Post has conducted local vetting
and has found no derogatory information. Post requests
assistance in expediting this vetting response so that the
ticket can be issued to the nominee on November 7, 2008.
