PolOff shared the content of Reftel with MFA Director of
International Organizations Delia Villamonte August 6.
Villamonte told PolOff August 7 that she had shared the
information with FM Samuel Lewis, and that he would
communicate it to President Martin. Senior Advisor to the FM
Nils Castro said he thought it was very likely President
Martin Torrijos would attend. Lewis, on a number of
occasions, has told Post that Torrijos will be in New York at
the time of this event and will do whatever is possible to
ensure he can participate.
